The station supports AC 220 V 50 Hz input, 600 W power consumption, iron temperature range 200–500 °C, hot-air gun temperature 100–480 °C, air-flow 0.5–23 L/min, earth resistance of bits < 2 Ω and drain voltage < 2 mV.

It is designed for surface-mount-device tasks including dis-/re-mounting QFP, PLCC, SOP, BGA etc. The hot-air feature and temperature control make it suitable for temperature-sensitive elements.

  • Anti-static design to avoid harming PCBs via static or leakage.

  • Intelligent cooling after use: after work is done it delays air supply and cuts off power once air temp <100 °C, to protect heating elements and extend life. 

  • LED temperature display for accurate control and easier operation.

  • Install the correct nozzle only when the steel tube is cooled.

  • Keep a minimum distance (≈ 2 mm) between the hot-air outlet and the component.

  • Use lower temperature/higher airflow for smaller nozzles to avoid damage.

  • Use automatic cooling mode after operation before powering off. (The JAS-852D specification mentions this feature.)

  • The heating unit is a ceramic heating unit (A1321) in this model.

  • The airflow rate is adjustable from 0.5 to 23 L/min; this gives control over how much hot air is blown, allowing fine control to avoid damage to nearby components.
