An Air Handler, or Air Handling Unit (often abbreviated to AHU), is a device used to condition and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system. An air handler is usually a large insulated metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling coils, filters, sound attenuators and dampers. Air handlers usually connect to ductworks that distribute the conditioned air through the building and return it to the AHU. Sometimes AHUs discharge (supply) and admit (return) air directly to and from the space served without ductwork.
Our AHUs are designed for lower foot prints, higher energy efficiency, modularity and a host of other features like thermal braking and other custom designed features.

- Continual room air cleaning
 - Three stage filter system with electrostatic filter
 - High energy efficiency
 - Rapid, space-saving mounting
 - Modular construction and a complete system solution
 - Durable quality components
 - Low investment, operation and maintenance costs

FAQs
Our Air Handling Unit (AHU) is designed to condition and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating & air-conditioning (HVAC) system. Unlike split-AC units that serve a single space, this AHU integrates blower(s), filter(s), heating/cooling coils, dampers and connects to ductwork to supply/return air for entire zones.
Because of its modular construction and efficient design, it offers greater flexibility for larger spaces and specialised environments.
This unit is suitable for commercial, industrial and clean-room environments where air-handling, filtration and air-circulation are critical. It works well in spaces that require conditioned air distribution via ducts, return air handling, or even direct supply/return if no ducts are used.
Maintenance typically includes:
-

Checking and cleaning/replacing filters on a scheduled basis (depending on environment, e.g., monthly in dusty settings).
 -

Inspecting blower motors, belts or drives, and verifying dampers operate properly.
 -

Cleaning coils (heating/cooling) to maintain efficiency.
 -

Verifying electrical connections and safety controls.
 -

Periodic performance checks for airflow, pressure drops and energy consumption.
We recommend a full preventive maintenance check at least once or twice annually, with more frequent filter inspections in high-contaminant environments.
Selecting correct capacity involves:
-

Estimating the volume of the conditioned space (m³ or ft³).
 -

Determining required air change rate (ACH) or required airflow (m³/h or CFM) based on occupancy, equipment, cleanliness level, etc.
 -

Considering thermal load (cooling/heating) of the space.
 -

Factoring duct losses, return air path, filter pressure‐drop, and other system components.
We can provide a sizing recommendation if you share your room size, occupancy, any special requirements (e.g., clean-room, pharm, pharma, data-centre), ambient conditions and desired temperature/humidity levels.
This AHU comes with a three-stage filter arrangement including an electrostatic filter. The multiple stages allow removal of larger particles in the early stage, fine particles in the mid stage, and electrostatic filtration for high‐efficiency capture. This design ensures continual room air cleaning and supports good indoor air quality.
If you have special clean-room or certification requirements (e.g., ISO Class, HEPA), we can discuss custom filter upgrades.
